Red Dead Redemption 2 To Be Announced Next Week

In what has been a surely a long wait for Red Dead Redemption fans, Rockstar has revealed via a Tweet that it is going to give out a planned announcement on Thursday, September 28th at 11 AM Eastern Time.

So far there has been nothing substantial for the game released so far except very vague details and a short trailer that was released last October. Perhaps Rockstar will go more in depth this time around since it has came full circle (in terms of the year) from the initial release of the teaser trailer.

Rockstar and Take-Two Games originally planned to release the game this year but it later said in May that it was pushing for a Spring 2018 launch and in it's fiscal year-end report it stated that the release window was aimed at FY 2019 which is between April 2018 to March 2019.

Hopefully fans won't have to wait much longer than that to play the game but should the game face another delay, It will probably be for the best. It's better to have a game launch without issues than have a broken game that gives you bad publicity and turns away your player base including any customers that might be looking to buy the game in the future.
