Also due the bigger screens on these televisions help create a more cinematic experience for gamer and those that binge watch Netflix. Also some televisions have Dolby Vision that is supposed to create the colors as close to the film as possible, there's however only a few movies that are compatible with Dolby Vision.

Compared to VR, People are buying 4k televisions which is driving the price down, as people buy these televisions it creates a demand for more supply and as the years go by it gets cheaper as all other things. There's also budget televisions too like Seiki but I would read reviews on Amazon before you buy the cheaper ones.
4. 4K is making 3D more immersive for those that are interested in Virtual Reality. The higher resolution makes the pixels in the headsets much less visible to see with the human eye due to it being so close to your eyes. Sony's PSVR is notorious for having that issue due it using 1080p panels in it's headset.

It has a lot to offer and relatively cheap if you decide to go on a budget.
