Amazon Falls Victim To Piracy Exploits

Amazon Fire Stick has finally became the next victim of piracy following other set-up boxes (hardly surprising). Pirates have discovered a exploit that allows them to install pirated movies on torrent sites onto their Amazon Fire HD stick. With the right knowledge, anybody can do this however it's recommended not to install pirated movies due to risk of copyright infringement however historically, the creators of the exploit and the ones that upload movies onto torrent sites as well the operators of said torrent sites generally are the ones that get caught and held responsible.

For those unfamiliar with Amazon's Fire Stick, it's a device you plug into your smart TV that's internet connected and you watch movies or television on it. Some content is free other content requires a subscription for services such a Prime, HBO etc. Set-Up Boxes have a history of being hacked into and being able to install pirated movies on them. One of them was Apple TV where you could download jailbreaking software and then do things on the device you otherwise wouldn't be able to do with a non-jailbreak iOS device.
