Have you ever been on the telephone with a telemarketer or spammer and at first thought you were talking to a human and you found out that you were deceived by a robot later on in the call?
Well a group of researchers have created a wearable device called "Anti-AI AI" that detects AI and let's humans know when they are being deceived by identifying differences between synthetic speech and real human speech in real-time using Google's Neural Network powered by Google's machine learning software "Tensorflow".
While AI isn't supposed to exceed human intelligence until a few decades from now, they are exceeding at humans in terms of work, playing chess faster and other tasks. Currently The World is going through a 4th Industrial Revolution and that brings casualties with each major step forward but creates new professions and jobs for others.
This is definitely a good thing that I believe would be useful for things like telemarketers especially in the future. Right now people like me can tell the difference somewhat from AI to Human but the ability to tell the difference between AI and Human is going to get more blurred to the point where humans wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
