How To Bypass Windows 7/8 password on-screen

Introduction

Sometimes we forget our passwords when we turn on our computers and we try to enter the password we know several times to no result. Well there's a workaround for that, I'll lay down the steps to take below however it's important for one to make a recovery disk that way you won't have to go through these technical know-how hoops every single time. I have made it as easy as I could for you to understand how to do this.

Bypassing Password Window by Command Prompt

   1. Hold your power button if you're still on the password login screen when you turn on your computer.

  2. Press and hold F12 to get the "Boot Meun" when you first turn it on and see the manufacturer of your motherboard or computer.

 3. Next you need to select "Safe Mode with Command Prompt"

 4. Once you're on "Command Prompt" type in "net user" then you'll see a screen like so:

5. Select the user account by typing in " net user Chris * " and you'll get a screen like this:

6. Type in the new password for said user and then type it in the confirm the password.

7. You're Done! Just restart the PC and you'll be able to use the new password when you log in.

I would definitely recommend making a recovery disk though that way you don't have to barge through the back door to get in. This guide will explain that pretty well.
