Firefox Quantum To Double Your Internet Browser Speeds

Firefox Quantum Announcement

After Mozilla announced plans for it's project quantum last year, It has officially launched its new Firefox browser into the beta testing phase which could pose a direct challenge to Google causing  Google to counter-act Mozilla's effort if Mozilla achieves it's objective. Mainly the overhaul effort for the new Firefox is focused on Speed and Mozilla says due to it's CSS engine re-write it has achieved speeds twice as that of it's previous version of the browser.

"Library" Button Demostration

The browser has also got a visual tune-up too with the meuns and tabs redesigned and a new "library" button combines bookmarks, downloads and history all into one place. The browser has a more stylish look similar to the iOS Safari browser but if users prefer the old version they can change that back in the "Preferences" option. Right now it's available in beta for Linux, macOS, Windows, Android and iOS and the official release date is slated to release November 14th.
