For those that have completed the campaign and are grinding for loot right now there's some news to tell you. The first DLC for is dubbed "The Curse of Osiris" which might remind you about the infamous trials for it's multiplayer mode which gave you a chance to get loot when you go against other players (mostly higher level to make it more challenging). This expansion however isn't about about the infamous multiplayer mode but rather a campaign according to sources at Polygon.

This setting is rumored to take place on planet Mercury and you'll travel through time and space to learn Osiris' (legendary warlock) secrets and unite him back to Ikora Rey which will give you gear for your class (I'm assuming exotic gear but not sure).

There also will of course be new Crucible maps and stuff to do in-game but whether or not there will be a new raid is anybody's guess for now. The expansion is rumored to launch this December which almost puts it's launch on the same date as Destiny 1's first expansion date and Bungie promises to tell more details in due time.
