Microsoft Creates Holographic Display That Fit Glasses

So Far we have seen holographic displays that are bulky but will that improve anytime soon? Microsoft seems to figure an way to do just that. Researchers apparently has developed true, near-eye holographic optics that fit inside a regular pair of glasses. Normally a display this compact would result into unusable picture but technical adjustments made in the display projector make the picture easy to see and read.

The Researchers implements 3 different technologies: eye-tracked rendering and GPU boost algorithms to render detailed holograms with realistic focus and vision correction all in real time. While this reveal does show what the future might hold, Microsoft was very clear that they aren't revealing their cards for the future and despite this advancement, the tech itself still is fairly limited in this kind of compact form factor as it can only display Monoscopic Picture at once.

Now that Microsoft researcher has figured out, hopefully we can get some decent AR headsets that aren't bulky and will definitely make AR experiences more comfortable. One thing I would say the tech really could use is games that interest people and the elimination of motion sickness in it's entirety.
