Linksys to Launch Gaming Router That Prioritizes Gaming Traffic

Linksys WRTX32X Router

Linksys is taking preorders for it's WRTX32X gaming router that prioritizes gaming traffic from devices with killer Ethernet. It says that the router when used in conjunction with a killer-ethernet device to lower ping speeds from 74 milliseconds (ms) to as low as 17 (ms) for users with a 10 Mbps / 2 Mbps down connection now whether that is true or not remains to be seen.

The Router has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 3.0 and a eSata / USB 2.0 port for external devices like a printer.  Usually with routers at a $300 price point have a wider range of range but there have been a few out there that have had a price point similar to this more specfically D-Link Routers and have been reported to not have a wider range than ones at budget price points.

People that are interested in preordering the WRTX32X router can do so here and MSRP will be $330 and released on September 21st 2017.
